A few changes...
Hi folks!
Making a post that's public about some changes with what I'm doing heading into 2026. We'll have some new subscriber-only content in the next few days too!
Recently, as many of you know, I've been stretched pretty thin due to a sick kitty and LOTS of other crazy stuff going on this year. I've also been trying to do WAY too many different things and I'm EXHAUSTED! So I've had a lot of business discussions with my partner and family and am making some changes moving forward and I wanted to let folks know about them :)
I'm prioritizing the following:
Our main projects working with subscribers and Kickstarter Backers (books, decks, loot etc)
A LOT more new and better content for paid subscribers (more behind the scenes and tutorials are coming!)
Better/cooler things in the monthly subscriber mailing!
A lot more new things in the online store.
Getting back to blogging
Plus smaller side projects I'd do by myself (*cough toad book cough*) as well as some longer term projects with others.
Seasonal special sculptures with a range of prices like the Yule Toads available now. (Psst, the next one involves very special book wyrms and is coming in a few months).
I'm ending/changing the following things:
We're cutting events waaaay back to only 3 or 4 next year (but it's flexible).
I'm not going to be twitch streaming anymore. I think to really make it work it would need to be a full-time thing and with the cats needing care and other factors I can't do that. I've also had some interactions that were a pretty big invasion of privacy so I just don't feel comfortable doing this any longer.
We're ending the Baby Creature of the month subs as the time and clay cost is too high. (but we're doing seasonal sculptures as mentioned above).
I'm not taking commissions at this time. I REALLY wanted to make this work but I had feedback the prices were too high and that folks wanted fan art. I can't really do that at this time because it's not financially sound, so for now they are going away.
