Each card in the Oracle of Water features the name of the creature and a simple meaning. Depending on the creature there are both horizontal and vertical cards. The meanings in Oracle of Water are inspired by water with themes involving purification, emotion, healing, gentle and harsh environments, etc.  
 
You'll notice the oracle cards have a symbol on each card.   These "runes" are unique for each creature can be used to connect with this creature by carving or writing it. The guide book also includes meanings for the runes with their creatures. Runes of Sand and Sea is a deck of JUST the rune symbols.. You can use these with the Oracle of Water to gain additional insight or as their own oracle deck.
